Using Joy Reid’s classic differentiation between “ear learners” and “eye learners” as a starting point, this session introduces multimodal editing strategies as a way of affirming and empowering multilingual learners. You will practice identifying, scaffolding, and implementing multimodal editing strategies, and to close the session, we will consider how corequisite faculty can share these strategies with colleagues across disciplines.
