Bringing your introductory psychology class together online — how to reach every student | Benjamin White

At Macmillan Learning, we rely on our faculty consultants to help us respond to the ever-changing challenges of teaching, and while the challenges you are facing now are unprecedented, we know someone who can help you and your students with the transition online.

Professor Benjamin White, who in addition to teaching psychology online, also helps others on his campus create and manage online courses. On Wednesday, April 8th, he will be available to talk about making the transition from in-person to remote teaching—what you need to get started, what he has learned from his experiences, and how to address the specific needs of your students.

Professor White will briefly address three fundamental issues:

1.   Stepping into an online course
2.   Establishing meaningful connections with your students
3.   Balancing synchronous and asynchronous teaching

Following the presentation Benjamin will be available for questions about making the transition to an online environment.
