Syndee Wood teaches first-year composition, reading, and argument courses at three colleges in North San Diego County. She is a first-generation student, the first in her family to earn a degree. Recently, Syndee shared her experiences teaching multimodal assignments in a chapter titled, “Promoting Social Justice through Multimodal Composition in the Hybrid Classroom,” which is in the copyediting and typesetting stages.
