How can we successfully meet the needs of all our adult learners in a technology-driven higher education world? Learn how AI can support the three relational levels of adult learners (Emerging, Mentee, Peer), leading to more engaged and personalized learning experiences that support student development of necessary AI competencies during their journey in college to their chosen careers. Learn how to design authentic learning and assessment experiences with AI to meet the unique needs of varied modern adult learners, from our ‘Zoomer’ students to our professionally-experienced, but AI novice peers.

Dr. Jennifer Parker

Dr. Jennifer Parker

Education Consultant and Faculty Development Coordinator , University of Florida

Dr. Jennifer Parker is a nationally recognized PK-20 education consultant and Faculty Development Coordinator at the University of Florida, where she leads faculty learning communities on AI in teaching. With over 30 years in education, her work spans instructional design, educational technology, and continuous improvement. She has held leadership roles as an instructional technology coordinator, district administrator, and state professional development lead. Formerly with Macomb ISD and adjunct faculty at Central Michigan University, her expertise includes instructional data coaching and AI literacy. Her current research focuses on information literacy and generative AI, including development of the FLUF Test for prompt writing and critical evaluation.

 

An award-winning author, her recent book Making the Move with EdTech (2023) reflects her leadership in scaling digital learning. Recognized by Tech & Learning Magazine as a top EdTech influencer, she helped create the widely adopted 21things4 Project and holds an ISTE Seal of Alignment. Dr. Parker is an ISTE Digital Leader of the Year, ISTE Certified Educator, and contributor to ISTE's educator and student standards. She’s active in FETC, CoSN, ASCD, Learning Forward, and FALCON.

Dr. Stefani Boutelier

Dr. Stefani Boutelier

Associate Professor of Education and Coordinator of Instructional Technology, Aquinas College

Dr. Stefani Boutelier is an Associate Professor of Education and Coordinator of Instructional Technology at Aquinas College in Michigan. She also serves as Graduate Research Program Director, teaching instructional design, literacy, and educational research to pre- and in-service teachers. A former Southern California K-12 educator, her expertise bridges classroom teaching and teacher preparation.

An ISTE Certified Educator and Trainer, Dr. Boutelier is deeply engaged with national and international education communities, including NCTE, CSTA, ISTE, and MACUL. She has led initiatives such as the MACUL Women’s Forum and co-facilitated Girls Empowering Together (GET). Her advocacy and volunteer work earned her the 2020 WCS Molly Guillime Volunteer of the Year Award and recognition from the Adobe+ISTE Challenge.

 

A published scholar and creative writer, her most recent co-authored book, Teaching Poetry in a Digital World (Routledge, 2025), explores pedagogy at the intersection of literacy and technology. Dr. Boutelier is known for fostering inclusive learning spaces, mentoring educators, and building lasting community partnerships.

 

Dr. Madeline Craig

Dr. Madeline Craig

Associate Professor and Technology Integration Coordinator, Molloy University

Dr. Madeline Craig is Associate Professor and Technology Integration Coordinator at Molloy University’s School of Education and Human Services. She holds an Ed.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University and an M.F.A. from Adelphi University. Her teaching and research span K-12, higher education, and corporate learning, with a focus on AI tools for teachers, project-based learning, and online course design.

 

Dr. Craig has presented at major educational conferences and published in journals such as The English Record and Journal for Leadership and Instruction. She is an ISTE Certified Educator, Google for Education Trainer, and advisory board member for The Teaching Professor conferences. In 2023, she received Molloy’s Innovative Course Design Award and NYSCATE’s Brandon Del Corvo Classroom Grant.

A passionate teacher advocate, Dr. Craig mentors both undergraduate and graduate students and was honored as Club Advisor of the Year in 2025. Her work blends scholarly rigor with practical innovation in instructional technology and faculty development.
