Steve received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his MS and Ph.D. from The University of New Hampshire. His research interests include mathematical modeling and the statistical analysis of cancer experiments. Steve has published a number of research papers in mathematics journals including Biometrics, Anticancer Research, and Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine, presented his results at national conferences, written several books, and has been awarded grants from the National Science Foundation, the Center for Rural Pennsylvania, and the Ben Franklin program.

Bruce Crauder received his Ph.D. in mathematics from Columbia University in 1981. After postdoctoral positions at the Institute for Advanced Study, the University of Utah, and elsewhere, he joined the mathematics department at Oklahoma State University in 1986. As a faculty member, he wrote curriculum to address the challenges of teaching beginning college mathematics. He is now happily retired as Professor Emeritus.
Bruce and his wife, Laurie, have between them three children and two grandchildren. He enjoys bird watching, singing, and especially his amazing agility poodle.

Benny Evans received his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Michigan. He is a (retired) Professor of Mathematics at Oklahoma State University, where he has served as undergraduate director, associate head, and department head. He has held visiting appointments at the Institute for Advanced Study, Rice University, and Texas A&M. His research interests are topology and mathematics education.

Alan Noell received his Ph.D. in mathematics from Princeton University in 1983. After a postdoctoral position at Caltech, he joined the faculty of Oklahoma State University in 1985. He is currently a professor of mathematics, with research emphasis in complex analysis. He has coauthored several textbooks for entry-level university mathematics courses.
