Her instructional design team, the Learning and Teaching Consultants, work with faculty on creating course activities or entire courses, run outreach to faculty about pedagogical best practices and new tools, and teach faculty and students to make effective use of LSA’s technology and teaching spaces. Emily was teaching faculty, and a website designer on the side, for 10 years before making the career shift to instructional design and ed-tech.
