Kevin Revell

Kevin Revell

Chemistry Professor and Author, Murray State University

Kevin Revell is a professor in the Department of Chemistry at Murray State University.  After working for several years in the pharmaceutical industry, he completed his Ph.D. in chemistry in 2006 (University of South Florida), and joined the Murray State faculty in the same year.  His research has spanned medicinal chemistry (synthesis and mode of action of antibacterial compounds), materials chemistry (synthesis and characterization of organic semiconductors), and chemical education (curriculum, technology-enhanced pedagogy, and active-learning design).  He has served as the assistant dean of the Jones College of Science, Engineering, and Technology at MSU (2013-2019) and as chemistry department chair (2018-2020).  Dr. Revell is the author of Introductory Chemistry, published by Macmillan Learning.


Stacey Cochran

Assistant Professor and Author, University of Arizona

Stacey Cochran is an Assistant Professor researching innovative teaching practices centered on writing and well-being at the University of Arizona, with dual appointments in English and the office of Student Success and Retention Innovation. He has also served as the Coordinator of Student Success and Wellness in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. His bestselling novel Eddie & Sunny was adapted as a major motion picture in 2021 by Paradox Studios US and Iervolino Entertainment. He was a finalist for the 1998 Dell Magazines Award, a finalist for the 2004 St. Martin's Press/PWA Best First Private Eye Novel Contest, and finalist for the 2011 James Hurst Prize for fiction.


Paul Gore

Paul Gore

Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost, Bellarmine University

Dr. Gore currently serves as the vice president of academic affairs and provost at Bellarmine University in Kentucky. Dr. Gore earned his Ph.D. in counseling psychology, with an emphasis in student career development, academic success, and transition, from Loyola University–Chicago. Dr. Gore's work focuses on noncognitive and motivational determinants of academic and career success. In particular, he is interested in how secondary and postsecondary institutions use data describing the noncognitive strengths and weaknesses of their students to promote transition, engagement, student success, and retention. He regularly consults with secondary and postsecondary institutions in the United States and abroad on developing and evaluating student academic and career success programs. Dr. Gore is a fellow of the American Psychological Association and was the recipient of a 2013–2014 American Council on Education Emerging Leadership fellowship.
